About the App
Phos Sermon Clipper is operated by Phos Community Church to prepare, manage, and publish sermon clips and related church content. It is intended for authorized church personnel. Followers do not need to connect their Facebook accounts to this app to watch published content.
Information We Process
Depending on the features used and permissions granted, the app may process:
• Sermon recordings, audio, transcripts, clip titles, descriptions, and generated content.
• Facebook account and Page identifiers, Page names, granted permissions, and access tokens needed to connect and manage an authorized Page.
• Publishing schedules, post and Reel identifiers, links, upload records, and processing or publishing status.
• Information supplied by authorized users when operating the app or requesting support.
We do not request Facebook passwords or use the app to access followers’ private messages or personal feeds.
How We Use Information
We use this information to:
• Connect authorized church accounts and Pages.
• Prepare and edit sermon clips and accompanying text.
• Publish or schedule content when an authorized user requests it.
• Check publishing status, troubleshoot problems, and prevent duplicate submissions.
• Maintain the app’s security and operation.
Sharing and Service Providers
Content selected for publication is sent to the selected platform, such as Facebook or YouTube, and may become publicly available.
When AI-assisted features are used, relevant sermon transcripts, prompts, and related text may be processed by the configured AI provider. We do not include Facebook access tokens in AI prompts.
Authorized church personnel and service providers may access information as necessary to operate or support the app. Facebook, YouTube, and other providers process information under their own privacy policies and terms.
We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
Storage and Security
Application information and credentials are stored in church-controlled application storage. We use access controls and reasonable safeguards to protect them. Access tokens are not intended for public display or inclusion in published content. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Retention
We retain information as needed to operate the app, manage church content, maintain publishing records, prevent duplicate submissions, and meet applicable legal obligations. Information that is no longer needed can be removed through authorized administration or a deletion request.
Disconnecting and Data Deletion
You may revoke the app’s Facebook access through Facebook’s app or business integration settings.
To request access, correction, or deletion of information held by Phos Sermon Clipper, email info@phoschurch.com. Identify “Phos Sermon Clipper” and the relevant Facebook Page or account. Do not send passwords or access tokens.
We will review the request, verify authorization where necessary, and delete or correct applicable information, subject to legal requirements.
Revoking access or deleting app-held information does not automatically delete content already published to Facebook or YouTube. Please specify whether your request also concerns published content.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app or its practices change. Updates will appear on this page with a revised date.
