The foundation of our faith is the resurrection of Jesus.
Everything we do flows out of His act of love for us and our decision to follow Him.

These core beliefs unify us as a church body:
SCRIPTURE - The Bible is the inspired Word of God.
We believe the Bible is God’s truth revealed to us in written form—completely true and trustworthy. It is the final authority for what we believe and how we live. (See 2 Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 119:160; 2 Timothy 3:16–17.)
GOD - There is one true God.
We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God created the heavens and the earth - and us. He loves us. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He became flesh, revealed God to humanity, and became the Savior of the world. The Holy Spirit, our counselor and guide, is given to every believer who receives Jesus as Lord. (See Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; Genesis: 1:1; John 3:16; John 1:14; John 14:16-17.)
HUMANITY - Sin separated humankind from God.
We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him. However, our sinful disobedience separated us from God leaving us unable to have a right relationship with God through our own efforts. (See Genesis 1:26; Romans 3:23.)
SALVATION - The only means of salvation is Jesus Christ.
We believe that Jesus died on the cross and that God rose Jesus from the dead to pay the penalty for our sins. By believing in Jesus, His death and resurrection, and recognizing Him as the Lord in our lives, we can be saved and accept the gift God offers of eternal life. ln Christ, we become a new creation and are continually shaped into His image. (See 1 Corinthians 15:3; Romans 10:9–10; 2 Corinthians 5:17.)
THE CHURCH - The Church is the body of Christ with a designated purpose.
We believe the Church is called to be the body of Christ here on earth with Jesus as the head. We seek to glorify God by loving Him, loving others, and by making Him known to the world. (See Ephesians 1:22–23; 1 Corinthians 12:12–27; Matthew 22:37; John 13:34–35; Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 1:8.)
